1972 Orange Bowl
Apparently once wasn’t enough.
After beating Oklahoma 35–31 in the Game of the Century, Nebraska finished the season with a 38–6 Orange Bowl win over Alabama.
1994
1995 Orange Bowl
The wait finally had an ending.
Two fourth-quarter touchdowns from Cory Schlesinger helped Nebraska beat Miami 24–17, giving Tom Osborne his first national title.

1996 Fiesta Bowl

Nebraska beat Florida 62–24 in the Fiesta Bowl to complete back-to-back unbeaten national championship seasons.

1998 Orange Bowl
One more for the road.
In Tom Osborne’s final game, Nebraska beat Tennessee 42–17 in the Orange Bowl and won the Coaches national title.
