Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to love your order. If something isn’t right, here’s how returns and exchanges work.

Returns

  • You have 30 days from receiving your item to request a return.
  • Items must be in the same condition you received them: unworn/unused, with tags, in original packaging.
  • Receipt or proof of purchase is required.

Start a Return

Email us at hello@werebackco.com with your order number to request a return. Once approved, we’ll send simple instructions. Items sent back without first contacting us will not be accepted.

Return Shipping & Fees

Because many of our items are printed to order, approved returns are subject to the fees below (deducted from your refund):

  • $8 prepaid return label fee (if you choose our label)
  • 10% restocking fee

Return Shipping Options

  • Prepaid USPS Label (Recommended): We can email you a prepaid label. A flat $8 will be deducted from your refund (in addition to the 10% restocking fee). It’s usually cheaper and more convenient than a trip to the post office.
  • Ship It Yourself: Use any carrier you prefer. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs when using their own carrier. All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get the right size or color is to place a new order for the item you want and return the original. Once your return is received and approved, we’ll refund the returned item (minus any applicable fees).

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us right away at hello@werebackco.com. We’ll cover all costs and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
  • Personal care items (beauty, hygiene, etc.)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

Refunds

Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you of approval. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund.

If it’s been more than 15 business days since your refund was approved, please contact us at hello@werebackco.com.

EU Customers

For orders shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, no questions asked. Items must be returned in their original condition as described above. EU statutory rights are not affected.
